Aswan International Airport Terminal and Facilities

Located in the south of Egypt, Aswan International Airport (ASW) is a gateway to the cultural richness of the region. Serving both domestic and international flights, the terminal building offers a comfortable and practical travel experience for passengers.

The terminal building of the airport is inspired by Nubian architecture. The terminal reflects the cultural texture of the region with its unique design. The 18,000 square meter terminal building is divided into two main sections. The ground floor is reserved for arriving passengers. This section includes a baggage claim area, customs points, currency exchange bureaus and car rental offices. The upper floor is designed for departing passengers. This section has check-in counters, security checkpoints and waiting lounges.

Aswan International Airport has a variety of services that prioritize the comfort of passengers. Duty-Free shops at the airport offer Egyptian souvenirs, perfumes and cosmetics. In the food and beverage areas, there are restaurants and cafes serving local and international cuisines. Additional facilities in the terminal, such as a prayer room and a children’s playground, cater to the diverse needs of travelers of all ages.
